Botmanhosting is downsizing to cut costs so I can continue to host bots. :D
I have cancelled and removed the billing system for Botmanhosting and am now managing accounts manually.
You can still order or cancel bots but you will need to contact me directly.
How you can order a bot now
- Payment via Paypal or Stripe
- 1 month bot trials available for $5 USD (not free at the moment)
- Please contact me before you pay as the new host is smaller (and cheaper) than the old one
When ordering a bot, please provide:
- The name of your server
- IP
- Player port
- Player pass (optional)
- Telnet port
- Telnet pass
- Web panel port (if known)
- Your player name
- Your name
- Your email address
- An alternative internet contact (usually Discord, not a phone number)
Please check that the telnet port is enabled and accessible from the internet.
Pricing
- Monthly hosting: $10 USD
- 3 months: $28 USD
- 6 months: $54 USD
- Annually: $96 USD
Additional bots are cheaper: Monthly $5, 3 months $15, 6 months $30, annually $48.
Bot Requirements
- The bot requires the default mods that come with the server (not the example mod)

Demand for my bot has been declining for several years and not many people are playing these days, so it is time for me to downsize my hosting to reduce my costs. The billing system costs me $600 NZD per year, which is still a lot in USD, and the cost of renting my server for bot hosting on top of that finally exceeded average monthly income from bots. I am not rich and can't afford to carry those costs personally but also I do not want to have to shut down overnight leaving anyone botless.
I am not sure how much longer hosting bots will be affordable but I want to at least keep going for the rest of 2025.
For those who are renting longer terms, if I can't keep going my plan is to ultimately host a small number of bots from home on a local server until such time as demand for bots drops to zero. Once I stop renting a server I will stop accepting new bot orders (except for friends and if I have room for another bot).
