Hi guys!

I have been slaving away on the bot's code so that it will use Alloc's web API and also I've done a lot to make it play nicer with telnet, slowing and/or reducing traffic and even eliminating some commands entirely. I have also reworked several bits such as how it keeps track of when it is online/offline, various time keeping tasks and more. Tomorrow I will update the github repo. It is past bedtime so I won't do that now as I want to attempt to document the changes.

The API work is down to 3 commands still to code. Well actually those 3 commands were ones I had missed so I've done everything else. My list grew! xD

Currently on my dev server which is using the API you can't tell that it isn't using telnet. I'm very pleased with it. I just hope that it doesn't lag busy servers and doesn't cause any more telnet crashes (it really shouldn't since it only listens now).

If anyone wants to help test it, I have released it to the testing branch. I recommend after updating that you restart your bot after a minute or so to help make sure its properly initialised. There is a weird temporary glitch where it will respond to chat twice for about 30 seconds after updating. No idea why that happens. It fixes itself and is harmless.

To switch to testing type /set update branch testing, then type /update code. It will update within 30 seconds or so.
If you need to return to stable, do the same but type stable instead of testing.

Goodnight
